A weekend in Big Sur...
Beautiful Comfort.
I dedicate this week's Find's to the locals. Love you all. Nowhere else can you find a place, or people, quite like home. ♥
Enjoy!
Beautiful Comfort.
This past weekend I was lucky enough to spend in my beautiful home of Monterey, CA. It was my best friend's 30th birthday and we spent our Sunday driving down The Coast and camping out at the beautiful Fernwood Resort in Big Sur for a fun night of rock steady Reggae beats courtesy of Woven Roots and ARMY.
Growing up in the Monterey area, Big Sur is the place you always find yourself wanting to be. Drives down The Coast are relaxing, rejuvenating experiences for your mind and body. Big Sur is the birth place in my opinion of "Beautiful Comfort". Clothing that is functional, comfortable, and pretty all at the same time.
This week's Find's are my homage to my love of this idea and place. If you have never had the privilege of spending time in Big Sur, find it. Enjoy the serenity of this magical place. Enjoy a drink and a snack while cooling your feet in the River at the legendary Big Sur River Inn. Or drive a little further and enjoy a basket a Fries and a Pink Lemonade on the deck at the majestic Nepenthe Restaurant which has one of the most breathtaking views in the world.
I dedicate this week's Find's to the locals. Love you all. Nowhere else can you find a place, or people, quite like home. ♥
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteYou know, back in 1968 (another whole life ago) I was traveling on Hwy 1 along the coast of California and stopped at a diner in the middle of nowhere to get a cup of coffee on my way to San Francisco to meet my (then husband, short time)'s parents.
ReplyDeleteWe were not real happy and I remember almost getting off right there, finding a job and dedicating my life to painting...
It is possibly one of the most beautiful places in the world ... You are a lucky woman!
Climbing Bear, I LOVE this story!! I truly am blessed to be able to call this place HOME. :) I miss it terribly. I hope one day I can move back and my girls can experince this unique and amazing lifestyle. :)
